Battalion/Area you are applying for:

Rancor

Experience:

I have plenty of experience in being lead, or commander of a squadron or battalion. I have even specifically led Rancor on many different servers before, alongside simply being a part of it as another member. Furthermore, I also have plenty of other experience in plenty of regiments, 501st, 212th, 327th, Rancor, RC, BB, 41st, and 91st are the ones coming to mind at the moment, and have also been in plenty of other "High-Command" positions, like XO (Executive Officer / 2IC), and 3IC (Third in Command) on servers with those pertaining positions.

Why do you want to be a battalion commander/squad lead?

Leading is something that I love to do, and something that I believe I am quite good at. I love to play the game and will be incredibly active, being there to support the regiment, and I believe I can make Rancor into something amazing, something it should be. Enforcing quality rules, and regulations to ensure that only the "best" get into Rancor, not allowing any sort of mingery, or rule-breaking to happen. I also want to be a battalion commander because I want to lead Rancor into becoming one of the best regiments on the server, and I hope to implement the many ideas I have like a personal discord server, documents, trainings, phases, leadership opportunities, and much, much more. I will lead with many different qualities that I hope "defines" Rancor. Those are;

1. Speak to NOT at: Do not make the mistake of talking to a trooper expecting them to listen just because you are higher rank. Troopers, as professional as they are, shut down when you do not speak to them. The annoying voice of someone just talking to talk, with no viable rhyme or reason is horrible leadership and even worse mentorship.

2. Bend but NEVER Break: This is a roleplay server, serious sure, but this is still a game and you do not need to be super-serious about the rules.  Sometimes troopers lapse and revert to their primal nature. Get them back on track, and only after being refused or ignored do they require discipline. Be selective in both time and place to have some “questionable” things in game.

3. Opinions: The sun does not revolve around you, the far galaxy and solar systems are not orbiting around you. You are just like everyone else. We all have ideas and opinions, it goes a long way to ask others for theirs. Not only does it help build trust and respect, it shows that you are willing to listen and truly contemplate other people’s ideas.

4. Leadership Functions: There are literally dozens of leadership techniques. All viable and effective if utilizing the proper style for each individual trooper. Not all styles of “training” and or leadership work for each trooper, so needing the ability to adapt for each of their individual needs whenever asked.

5. Strength of position:  A firm hand and even firmer voice. A clear and direct method to a potential problem. Being confident, and knowing what you are talking about. Never forgetting that you are the Commander, though a friend alongside your troops.

 6. Quiet wisdom: A more subtle leadership feature where you use quips and puns to help others figure out the issue, where they themselves make the change. Sometimes teaching doesn’t need to be directly told, but to be discovered, and found.

7. Delegation and Regulation: Utilizing junior and senior leadership to achieve a desired goal. Troopers respond differently to other troopers, maximize your potential through using them.

 8. Strength of Character: Your level of professionalism, confidence and demeanor goes a long way at how others view you and interact with you. Set an example for others to follow, and be someone or something people can refer to, and look up to.

9. Leadership vs Mentorship: Leaders ensure the bottom line or goal is achieved. They set the standards and rules/guidelines needed accordingly to achieve that end state.  Mentors help their fellow brothers grow as an individual, help correct weaknesses, problem spots and issues the trooper has. A friend that wants to see the other succeed and is willing to do all in their power to do just that (within reason and the law). A leader is not someone who sits on top of the throne and watches others do work, they help wherever they can, they are right next to you working just as hard as everyone else.

10. Commitment: Leaders are committed to leading, taking it seriously, and actively. Being there constantly, as many days as possible, and for as many hours as possible for the regimen to promote, train, and bond with the regiment, making everyone the best possible trooper they can possibly be, inside and outside of the server.

Not "stolen", but typed for a previous application I had made but never submitted for a different server months back, thought I would use the time and effort I put into that here, of course with some much-needed touch-up, and few added details.

+1 Might be better then Me tbh
